Convinced that it’s completely inefficient to cross the U.S. border to become one of millions of Mexican illegals, Silverio Palacios transforms an old abandoned taxi into a raft to sail to Miami in search of the American Dream. A passionate deliverer of senseless speeches, Silverio prepares his most important one yet, to try to convince the American Government that he is a political refugee fleeing from Cuban Communism, risking his life in search of freedom and a better opportunity.
